Been a Freemason for over 50 years, and we are still miss-understood by many. to be one ask one, it easy to join, but hard to live the oath and lifestyle required by the order

I read about the Freemasonry, and It to me sounds like I would like to know more about it. Learning something new, never stop trying. LORD AND LOVE, BLESSED BE.

My Mother's side of our Family was big on the Masons and Eastern Star. My Father, being Catholic, was not so keen on it. I never heard from any one what it was all about. Now I can learn. Art

pretty much the freemasons welcome anyone who believes in a higher being. they believe all the godds of the world are just diffrent names for this one ultimate being. i personally believe in the godd and goddes. i but my dad is the worshfull master of the masons in the town i live in and my mom belongs to the eastern star (considering only men can be masons)

I was actually watching a show on the history channel that mentioned freemasons. I know virtually nothing about them, so I was going to research it. The invite came at a good time. thnx

hello Sophia I would love to study about the Freemasons and other Secret Societies. I have been reading about this and I must admit that I purchased a book called Free Masons for Dummies. I am not a dummy but with so much of everything to learn, it is easier to read and understand when it is written for people with little to no idea about this subject.

Very good point William. I can't speak for others in this group but I would hope and pray that we each are looking for the Real Truth - not only in this group and it's subjects, but in any of our endeavors.

There are three types of truth when you follow the path of discovery, Their Truth, Your Truth, and the Real Truth. So which one are we looking for in the Masonic Brotherhood?
